Police are investigating the suspicious deaths of two men at a home south of Townsville in north Queensland.

Emergency services were called to reports of a disturbance on Topton Street at Alva, north of Ayr, around 12.30am.

Paramedics attempted CPR on both men, but they died at the scene.
