Two more people have been arrested over the alleged botched kidnapping and murder of 85-year-old Sydney grandfather Chris Baghsarian, but detectives still believe there may be others involved.
Footage released by NSW Police on Wednesday shows the dramatic arrest of a 19-year-old at a home in the Western Sydney suburb of Shalvey, where armed officers stormed through the front door.
The teenager covered his face as he was escorted from the house and can be seen seen sitting in handcuffs on the footpath.
A short time later, strike force detectives arrested a 21-year-old man in Silverwater.
Both men were taken to Mt Druitt Police Station and charged with murder and take/detain in company with intent to ransom occasioning actual bodily harm. The teenager was also charged with failing to comply with a digital evidence access order direction.
“We’ll allege that both of those males were involved in detaining Mr Baghsarian at a house at Dural and also disposing of his body,” NSW Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon told 2GB Sydney.

Chris Baghsarian was snatched from his home in Sydney’s north-west.
A total of six people have now been arrested in relation to the death of Baghsarian, who was allegedly taken from his North Ryde home in the early hours of February 13 in what police believe was a case of mistaken identity.
His body was found 11 days later near a golf club in the semi-rural suburb of Pitt Town in Sydney’s north-west.
A 23-year-old believed to have orchestrated the kidnapping was arrested and charged in March, while another 19-year-old man was charged in April with murder and allegedly supplying a firearm used in the kidnapping.
Earlier, two men aged 29 and 24 were also charged for their roles in the alleged plot.
Speaking to 2GB’s Ben Fordham, Lanyon said NSW Police still believed there may be others involved, with detectives previously stating they may be seeking up to nine people.
“At the time we said that we would not give up until we put every person before the court that we think was involved,” Lanyon said on Wednesday.
“This was a despicable crime and the senseless loss of Mr Baghsarian’s life.”

Police made several appeals to Baghsarian’s kidnappers pleading for his return in the days after he was taken.
They suspect the perpetrators had actually intended to abduct a relative of Sydney businessman Dimitri Stepanyan, who lived on the same street as Baghsarian, with the hope of receiving $50 million for his return.
Baghsarian’s family described the ordeal as harrowing, remembering him as a devoted father, brother, uncle and grandfather.
Lanyon said he had not spoken to them after the latest development, adding “you can imagine they would be going through a stage of grief… the circumstances would be devastating to any family”.
