Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce has gushed over Prince William, after meeting him at one of her London concerts.

“Dude, he was the coolest motherf—er,” the footballer told his brother Jason on their podcast New Heights, posted on Wednesday (British time).

The Kelce brothers, who are still in Britain following Swift’s Eras Tour shows, shared a cup of tea as they revealed more details of meeting the Prince of Wales and his two eldest children last weekend.

“He was so cool. They were an absolute delight to meet. Wasn’t sure if I was supposed to bow to them, curtsy, just be an American idiot and shake their hand … We wanted to be polite, especially on this side of the park,” Travis said.

Jason schooled his brother on royal protocol.

“They specified that … … Because we weren’t at an official royal event, we didn’t need to bow or curtsy. I did still address him as ‘Your Royal Highness’,” he said.

He also joked that meeting William was the closest he had been to being emasculated.

“I’ve never seen you give someone that much respect,” Travis said. “You put your beer ten feet (three metres) away from you.”

Swift and Kelce went “Instagram official” in their relationship with a post on her account of a selfie with William and his children Prince George and Princess Charlotte. It is the first time she has shared a shot with the footballer.

In turn, the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official Instagram account posted its own selfie of William and his children with Swift.

“Thank you Taylor Swift for a great evening!” it was captioned.

George and Charlotte helped William celebrate his 42nd birthday at Swift’s concert at London’s Wembley Stadium last Friday.

“Happy Bday M8!” Swift captioned her own shot with the British royals. “London shows are off to a splendid start.”

Meanwhile, the football brothers also revealed their favourite royal, saving their highest praise for nine-year-old Princess Charlotte.

“Prince William was fantastic, but the highlight was Princess Charlotte,” said Jason, who was at the concert with his wife Kylie.

“She was so f—ing adorable. She had fire to her. She was asking questions.”

Travis agreed.

“She was a superstar,” he said.

“She was awesome. I love it when parents ask their kids to be present, be vocal – such a good parent move. Let them feel comfortable talking to people. If anyone’s doing it right, Prince William’s doing it right.”
