Hawks cleared of allegations
Victoria Police will not lay charges following an investigation into an alleged offence involving two Hawthorn players last October.
A young woman made allegations of sexual assault against the players, linked to a house in Ashwood in Melbourne’s south-east, on October 8.

“Box Hill Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) has concluded an investigation concerning allegations of a sexual assault in Ashwood,” a police statement said.
“No charges have been laid in regards to the matter.”
A statement from the Hawthorn Football Club said the matter was now finalised and the club would make no further comment.
