Essendon FC assault investigated
Police have confirmed they are investigating an “assault-related matter” at the Tullamarine headquarters of the Essendon Football Club.
A police spokesperson told The New Daily officers were called to the address in Melrose Drive at 7:20 on Monday morning to respond to the assault-related incident.

The police said two men had been involved in the incident and they were now investigating the matter.
The investigation is not related to the club. The headquarters are run independently of Essendon, according to 3AW.
No one was injured and no arrests have been made.
