Western Bulldogs midfielder Lin Jong has tweeted a video of his mother’s delirious celebratory reaction to the Dogs’ nail-biting win over Sydney on Saturday.
The Bulldogs’ remarkable start to 2015 continued with the four-point triumph over the highly-fancied Swans in driving rain at the SCG, and it seemed Mrs Jong was one of the happiest red, white and blue devotees with her son tweeting: “Classic mum #passion”.
The tweet was accompanied by a video of her watching the end of the game in her lounge room.

The video has since been shared widely on Twitter with @siobhancal saying, “This is what footy is all about, love it” and @Donnaah09 adding: “love it! Similar scenes were played out in our lounge room. Well done on a memorable win.”
AFL devotees met Jong’s parents in a recent interview in The Age where Jong expanded on what it’s like being one of the few players of Asian decent in the AFL.
