Born in Hull before moving to Australia at a young age, the 25-year-old played for Brisbane for five years and won three A-League titles with the club.

He has played for the Australian under-20s side and was called up to the Socceroos squad for the first time in August and will be on loan to the Wanderers until January 3.

Bolton are bottom of the Championship after drawing 1-1 at home to Leeds United on Saturday.
