The animal escaped its racing stable in Chantilly, north of Paris, with CCTV footage capturing the chaos that ensued.

Jockey Jean-Marie Beguigne, quoted in the Ouest-France, said he lost hold of the horse, who had what he called a “runaway penchant”.
