A woman accusing Republican candidate Donald Trump of raping her when she was 13 years old has cancelled a planned media appearance.

Known only as Jane Doe, the woman was expected to front a press conference with her lawyer Julia Bloom – who happens to be the daughter of a high-profile lawyer representing many of Trump’s other alleged sexual-assault victims.

But Ms Bloom announced the appearance would not go ahead because Doe had received death threats.

“Jane Doe has received numerous threats today,” Bloom told waiting media, according to Politico.

“She has decided she is too afraid to show her face … She is in terrible fear.”

Doe claims she was 13 years old when the presidential candidate raped her at a party thrown by disgraced New York businessman Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump has vehemently denied the allegations.

“There is absolutely no merit to these allegations. Period,” he told Radar Online.

Epstein has previously been convicted of soliciting sex from underage girls.
