Thai police officers interrogate three unidentified foreigners.

Thai police have arrested two American citizens and a British man for their alleged involvement in the murder of a foreigner in Bangkok, a local newspaper is reporting.

According to the Bangkok Post, the arrests followed the discovery on Friday of a dismembered and frozen corpse in a household refrigerator in the Thai capital.

Detainees were found in possession of drugs, weapons and false passports, according to the same source, who did not disclose the identity or nationality of the victim.

The three detainees will remain in jail for at least twelve days until the preliminary investigation can be completed.

Last February in neighboring Cambodia, a Spanish citizen was arrested on suspicion of committing a murder in Bangkok after the dismembered corpse of his compatriot David Bernat was found in the Chao Praya River, which flows through the city.

After Cambodian authorities delivered Segarra to Thailand, he was charged with murder and remains in prison in Bangkok while awaiting trial.
