Magnitude 6.4 earthquake strikes near Tokyo, Japan

A strong earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.4 has struck near Toyko, Japan on Friday.
The strong undersea quake’s epicentre was reportedly 226km south-east of the Japanese capital.
There is no tsunami warning active according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre in Hawaii.
