Omar Mateen’s spouse, Noor Zahi Salman is now facing potential criminal charges, after telling the FBI she drove Mateen to Pulse nightclub, Disney World and other sites to scope them out, the NBC reported.

She also told authorities she was there when the gunman bought the ammunition and holster used in the attack, but never reached out to law enforcement.

Mateen opened fire on the Pulse nightclub early Sunday morning, leaving 49 dead and injuring 53 others.

Twenty-seven victims remain hospitalised.
