An accused weapons supplier for an alleged Islamic State-inspired plot in Melbourne has had his case adjourned for two months.

Mehran Azami, 19, of Narre Warren, was mentioned briefly but did not appear in the Melbourne Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

Azami is charged with importing more than 200 weapons, including AK-47 flick knives and Tasers designed to look like iPhones.
