An illegal prostitution service that was selling sex with celebrities has been broken up by Indonesian police.

The so-called high class prostitution racket reportedly offered clients models, soap stars and other celebrities.

Indonesian police now have the names of 200 Indonesian actresses and models who were charging tens of thousands of dollars for men to sleep with them.

In a press conference in Jakarta, police revealed they had arrested an Indonesian soap star at a luxury hotel.

Police said the actress, identified only by her initials AA, was a soap star, model and DJ.

She was allegedly charging men 80 million rupiah ($7,700) for what police called a “short time” service of three hours in a hotel room with clients.

Another woman, who was arrested for allegedly running the illegal prostitution service, had 200 Indonesian actresses on her books and was using social media to promote them to customers.

The woman who was running the illegal prostitution service allegedly used the social media applications Blackberry Messenger and WhatsApp to promote the women to clients.
