CNN star sued for Baghdad biting rampage

Senior CNN reporter Arwa Damon is being sued for $1 million after she allegedly went on a drunken rampage against two ambulance workers in Baghdad last month.

A lawsuit obtained by TMZ details how Ms Damon, who is usually based in Beirut, became “seriously intoxicated” while at the US embassy and quickly turned violent.

When two emergency medical technicians (EMTs) arrived at the scene, Ms Damon allegedly bit both of them in their arms, also leaving one of them with bruising and the other with injured knees and elbows.

During the stoush, Ms Damon attempted to remind the ambulance workers of her position, telling them she was “a major reporter for CNN”.

The EMTs, Tracy Lamar and Charles Simons, are each suing Damon and CNN for $1 million.

CNN is yet to comment on the matter.
