Yarran appeared on Monday in Perth Magistrates Court where he entered pleas of guilty to assault, disorderly behaviour, breaching bail and two counts of obstructing public officers.
Chief Magistrate Steven Heath ordered a pre-sentence report for Yarran before his sentencing on November 30.
Video footage of the incident was posted on social media, sparking outrage from the community, including AFL chief executive Gillon McLachlan and West Australian Premier Colin Barnett.
