A man has been arrested and charged following a bizarre home invasion at Donvale, in Melbourne’s east last week.
A woman returned to her home with her husband on December 29 when she allegedly found an intruder sleeping in her living room, who threatened her with a knife.
An 18-year-old Hampton Park man has been charged with burglary, criminal damage, assault with a weapon and threats to inflict serious injury.
He is expected to face an out-of-session hearing on Wednesday night.
