Police investigate Vic deaths

Two men have died in separate incidents in Victoria overnight — one in the state’s west and the other in the city.

Police were called to a property at Landsborough, near Stawell, around 7:30pm yesterday after reports a man had been shot.

After a three hour stand-off, police finally entered the property and found the body of a 53-year-old man.

Meanwhile, Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death of a 26-year-old man after he arrived at the Monash Medical Centre in Clayton with life-threatening injuries at 7:00pm last night.

Police have not yet determined where he was when he was injured.
