A man, 20, has been killed in an altercation outside a service station in Cobram in Victoria’s north.

Police were called to the incident on the Murray Valley Highway about 10.30pm (AEDT) on Thursday.

The man died at the scene.

Homicide squad detectives are investigating the death, the cause of which is yet to be determined.
