Victoria Police are investigating a crash between a truck and a car in central Victoria that has claimed two lives.

The smash happened at an intersection on the Wimmera Highway, near Moliagul, west of Bendigo, about 9:00am (AEDT).

A man and a woman travelling in the car were killed.

The truck driver was not hurt.
