Homicide Squad investigates death of Melbourne teenager found injured on driveway
The Homicide Squad is helping with the investigation into the death of a 14-year-old boy in Melbourne this morning.
The teenager was found by family members in the driveway of a house in Metung Street, in Balwyn, with head injuries at around 2:30am (AEDT).
He was taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital, where he died around 5:00am.
Police say they have spoken to his family, but no arrests have been made.
Sergeant Graham Rodgers says the Homicide Squad is helping police with their investigations.
“It’s just unusual for his character and the where and how he was found. Because of the circumstances police are conducting a full investigation,” he said.
