Tasmanian Police have renewed appeals to help find a keen bushwalker who has not been seen since leaving his Glenorchy home 10 days ago.

Keith Murray, 46, took a sleeping bag and wet-weather gear when he left his home on March 20.

His family said Mr Murray is a photographer and sometimes takes day trips to National Parks.

It is believed he may be in the Tasman Peninsula or Mt Koonya areas.

His family are concerned as he has not made contact, and requires regular medication for diabetes.

Police have renewed calls for people to keep a look out for Mr Murray’s blue Daihatsu Charade hatchback with the registration EP2014.

The search has been focusing on remote roads and car parks at walking trails as police and friends try to locate his vehicle.

Police believe the car is critical to locating him.
