Will Hodgman rallies the Tasmanian Liberals
The Opposition Leader has made his final pitch to the party faithful before the next state election.
Introduced as Tasmania’s next Premier, Will Hodgman received a standing ovation from party members as he entered the conference room to uplifting music.
“We need to change the government here in Tasmania to give Tasmania a brighter future,” Mr Hodgman told the crowd.
Mr Hodgman used the occasion to urge Tasmanians against voting for minority parties in next year’s election.
He says a vote for any minority party is a wasted vote as it will help deliver another hung parliament.
Mr Hodgman also used his speech to announce failed federal candidate Bernadette Black will run as the liberal candidate in Franklin.
