One woman was killed while another was bound and gagged in an Adelaide home invasion.
Police discovered the body of the woman aged in her 50s on Friday night at a home in Bunbury Terrace, Valley View.
A woman in her 20s was found bound and gagged, while her three children in the home were unharmed.
The younger woman said they were attacked by two men in a home invasion, Superintendent Guy Buckley from Holden Hill Local Service Area told reporters on Saturday.
“The woman is alleging that there was a home invasion with two Caucasian males that left the scene in a white tradie-type four-wheel drive,” Supt Buckley said.
One of the men was wearing a white T-shirt, the other was wearing a dark hooded jumper, he said.
The younger woman’s husband was at work at the time, Supt Buckley said.
“It’s obviously a very concerning incident,” he said. “The parties involved are very shocked and traumatised.”
Police declined to comment on whether anything was taken from the house or whether the women knew their attackers.
