A Port Lincoln man who posed as a returned soldier at a Remembrance Day service last year has been charged under the Defence Act with falsely representing himself.
The man will appear in court next month.

Police allege that on Remembrance Day last year, the 24-year-old attended the Port Lincoln Returned Services League Club while wearing Afghanistan war service medals.
A complaint was later made to police that the man had never served abroad during any war as a member of the Australian Defence Force.
The Commonwealth director of public prosecution has laid one count under section 80A(1) of the Defence Act 1903, police said earlier this week.
