Man found stabbed to death in front yard

Police are calling on a man involved in the stabbing murder of another man at Port Noarlunga, south of Adelaide, to hand himself in.

Police and ambulance crews were called to a home on Fremantle Road just before 4:30am Saturday after reports of a fight at a party.

When they arrived they found a man dead in the front yard.

Police spoke to a number of witnesses and were still trying to identify the weapon involved.

Superintendent Paul Bahr said the attack was not random.

“Any crime of this type in what is effectively normally a quiet and normally safe residential area has got to send some alarm bells through people who live in this area,” he said.

“The people involved were known to each other, it doesn’t appear to be a random incident per se and we don’t believe that any other person is in danger.”
