Boy, 6, dies in playground slippery dip accident at Farrell Flat, SA

A six-year-old boy has died after a slippery dip fell on him in a playground in South Australia’s mid-north, police say.

Ambulance crews were called to a playground at Farrell Flat, west of Clare, just before 5:00pm (ACDT).

The boy, from Clare, was treated at the scene but died of his injuries.

South Australia Police have said there are no suspicious circumstances and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
