Three-year-old boy drowns on Gold Coast

A child found unconscious on a bus in central Queensland has been moved to a Brisbane hospital.
A three-year-old boy has died after emergency crews pulled him from the water at a popular Gold Coast swimming area.
Queensland Police said emergency services were called out to a lagoon off Labrador about 9am on Friday.
The toddler was reportedly later found in Ian Dipple Lagoon off the Gold Coast Broadwater in a critical condition.
He was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital but later died.
Police will prepare report for the coroner.
