Uber drivers victim of separate Brisbane attacks

Police are searching for a group of about five men who assaulted two Uber drivers and a third man in separate attacks in Brisbane.

The men attacked the first driver and grabbed his mobile phone at 1:50am when he was sitting in his car on Wickham Street in Fortitude Valley.

About 40 minutes later, they assaulted another man sitting in his car on the same street, punching him and damaging his vehicle.

At 3:15am, a second Uber driver was assaulted and his car damaged on River Terrace at Kangaroo Point.

The 49-year-old driver was treated at the scene for cuts and bruises to his head.
