Man not injured after being stuck in mine’s bulldozer

Emergency services have freed a man who was trapped in a bulldozer at a central Queensland mine.

The bulldozer became partially stuck in a coal pile, trapping its driver, at the Isaac Plains mine near Moranbah, south-west of Mackay, just before 7:00am (AEST).

Firefighters and technical crews were called to free the driver.

He was not injured.

The operators of Isaac Plains mine and the Queensland Mines Inspectorate will also investigate the incident.
