Police hope mannequin jogs memories of missing teen

Police on Queensland’s Gold Coast will set up a mannequin at Robina Town Centre today to help find a missing teenager.

Samuel Hitch, 16, who is autistic, has not been seen for six days.

Senior Sergeant Craig McGrath says the shopping centre is a frequent place Samuel visits.

“We’d ask shoppers who are at Robina Town Centre just to take the time to have a look,” he said.

“Take a look at the fliers we’re handing out and if they believe they may have seen him of have information there will be police on site they can have a chat with.

“From the Mudgeeraba Special School, they take their children across to that Robina Town Centre, he’s familiar with that.”

Police say there have been no confirmed sightings of Samuel.
