Queensland’s Liberal National Party (LNP) raised almost twice as much money as the state Labor Party in the first half of this year.

Electoral Commission figures show the LNP received $8.5 million in donations, compared to Labor with $4.7 million.

The Greens and Katter’s Australian Party both raised about $160,000.
