Federal Government delays Arrow CSG decision

The Federal Government will hold off for two months before deciding whether another coal seam gas (CSG) project in central Queensland can go ahead.

Federal Environment Minister Greg Hunt was expected to make a decision on the Arrow gas pipeline and export plant project today but the approval deadline has been extended until December 13.

A spokesman for Mr Hunt says the project is still under consideration and the Government needs more time to consider its potential impacts.
