Woman plunges to her death from NT’s Edith Falls
A woman has died after falling from the top of Edith Falls near Katherine in the Northern Territory.
The 71-year-old woman fell about 40 metres onto another part of the cliff face.
She was treated at the scene but could not be revived.
Northern Territory Police believe the woman was from New South Wales.
Edith Falls is located in Nitmiluk National Park, about 60 kilometres north of Katherine.
