Northern Territory police say a 55-year-old man has been seriously injured after his ultra-light plane crashed in Darwin’s rural area.

Emergency services are at the scene of the crash on a property near Noble Road in Girraween.

Duty Superintendent Louise Jorgenson says police heard about the crash just before 8:00am ACDT.
