Police have discovered $35 million worth of ice in the back of the vehicle.

Police have discovered $35 million worth of ice in the back of the vehicle.

Three men have been charged after police uncovered more than 100 kilograms of ice – with an estimated street value of $35 million – in the back of a ute in Sydney’s south east.

A special strike force investigation into a group suspected of supplying illicit drugs led to the arrests of the men – aged 31, 35 and 36 – at a home in Malabar about 7pm on Tuesday, police say.

During a search of the property, police say they found 107 kilograms of methylamphetamine in the rear tray of a Toyota Hilux parked in the driveway.

The men were charged with supplying a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug and were refused bail to appear in Waverley Local Court on Wednesday.
