Two men have been charged over the alleged kidnapping of two women and two children in central-west NSW.

The men, aged 23 and 29, were arrested near Sackville and taken to Windsor Police Station, where they were charged with various offences and refused bail.

Police say a third man, aged 44, was located in bushland near Blaxlands Ridge and is expected to be charged later today.

Police will allege three armed men forced entry to the Ootha home and assaulted the 68-year-old male occupant, knocking him unconscious, and deliberately set the home alight, before kidnapping his partner, her daughter and two grandsons.
