A baby boy has suffered minor injuries in an alleged domestic incident in Sydney’s west, with a 21-year-old man accused of throwing the stroller he was strapped in.

Police were called to a Hebersham home on Wednesday afternoon after reports of a man and woman fighting.

The man allegedly threw the stroller with the five-month-old boy in it and then fled, NSW Police said in a statement.

The baby hit his head on a tiled floor, according to the Nine Network. Paramedics treated him at the scene before he was taken to Westmead’s Children’s Hospital with minor injuries.

The man was arrested 400 metres away.

He has been granted conditional bail and will face Mount Druitt Local Court next week, charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
