Ten people, including several children, have been injured while riding in an overloaded ute that crashed and rolled in central-west New South Wales.
Emergency services were called to Newnes State Forest near Lithgow about midday.
Paramedics treated 10 people for a range of injuries at the scene, and two children were later flown to Westmead Children’s Hospital in Sydney.
A 12-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy, with injuries to his pelvis, were in a serious condition.
Police said an extended family of 13 people were in the vehicle at the time of the crash, including nine in the tray.
Police said the family is from Riverstone in Sydney’s north-west and were in the area on a camping trip.
The passengers ranged from seven to their mid-30s.
Five ambulances attended the scene.
