TV repairman charged with assault

An antenna repairman has been charged with the indecent assault of a woman while she was in the shower in Sydney’s south west.

Police said the man, 42, was called to the woman’s home at Mount Pritchard to repair a television antenna on December 30.

He allegedly entered the home about 10:40am and assaulted the woman while she was in the shower.

Police said the 36-year-old woman asked the man to leave and reported the incident to police.

The man was arrested and charged on Monday at Cabramatta Police Station after an investigation by officers.

He was granted conditional bail and is due to face Liverpool Local Court on February 16.
