Police were called to Heydon Street in Warrawee just after midnight after reports that three young males had been stabbed.

Fairfax reported that the stabbings were committed by an uninvited party guest who gatecrashed the birthday party with a knife.

“He just went crazy,” the owner of the Heydon Avenue home said.

The man said the party of approximately 60 guests had been under control until the intrusion. Two security guards had been on duty for the party, but had been unable to prevent the armed man from entering the house.

Neighbours reported hearing very loud noises from 7pm onwards and seeing shirtless men on the balcony of the house.
