When officers attempted to move the groups on, the two parties grew in numbers and a brawl erupted.

Two men, believed to be wedding guests, were arrested after allegedly assaulting others in the crowd and resisting arrest.

The 33-year-old and 23-year-old are expected to face court in December.

A 20-year-old woman was also arrested after she allegedly swore and screamed abuse at police.

A 24-year-old man was also arrested after refusing to leave the area.

Police said further charges are expected to be laid.

One person from the wedding was taken to hospital with minor injuries

Officers are appealing to the public for any witnesses to come forward with information.
