A man has been freed from beneath a collapsed wall in Sydney’s north.
The man, aged in his 40s, was initially trapped by the rubble on Friday morning at a NSW Rural Fire Service Station, which is under renovation in the suburb of Hornsby Heights.
Emergency services responded to a call at about 8am and worked for at least thirty minutes to rescue him.
The man is now being treated in hospital with serious chest and back injuries.
He was reportedly working on the wall at the time it trapped him.
