Two wounded in NSW shooting

Two men are in hospital with gunshot wounds after a shooting south of Sydney.

Emergency services were called to a house in Fairy Meadow, near Wollongong, about 11.15pm on Thursday following reports of a shooting.

A 26-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to his abdomen, and was taken to Wollongong Hospital for treatment.

A 28-year-old man arrived at the hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to his leg shortly afterwards.

Police believe he was also at the Fairy Meadow house when he was shot.

Both men are in stable conditions with non-life threatening injuries.
