More than $2.5 million of cannabis has been seized during two days of raids across Sydney.

On Wednesday afternoon, 39 plants and items used to grow hydroponic cannabis were found in a Rockdale home, police say.

And on Thursday, police searched homes at Yagoona, Carlingford and Penshurst, where more cannabis and fake documents were located.

Officers took 544 plants from the Penshurst house, a hydroponic grow kit and 174 plants from the Carlingford home, while bogus documents including fake driver’s licences were found at the Yagoona address.

The total value of the 757 plants exceeds $2.5 million, police say.

Three people were charged following the raids.

A 27-year-old Yagoona woman and a 23-year-old man from Springvale in Victoria were hit with drug cultivation and supply offences.

Bail was refused for both.

The woman is due before Burwood Local Court on Monday and the man is set to appear in Kogarah Local Court next Thursday.

A 23-year-old man, arrested at the Penshurst property, was charged with cultivation of prohibited drugs.

He was refused bail and was due before Sutherland Local Court on Friday.
