A 100-year-old man has been robbed in the Canberra suburb of Farrer.

A man forced his way into the elderly man’s locked bedroom, where he was sitting on his bed, and stole cash from his wallet around 11am on Friday morning.

The victim was not injured in the robbery.

The thief was described as having dark, shaved hair.
