Peaches’ death remains a mystery
The cause of Peaches Geldof’s death remains a mystery after a post mortem of the body returned “inconclusive” results.
The Wednesday morning post mortem “proved inconclusive pending the result of toxicology analysis”, said Kent police.
The results of a toxicology analysis can take several weeks to arrive.
Whether or not there needs to be an inquest into Geldof’s death will depend on the results of the report.
The mother of two was pronounced dead in her Wrotham, Kent, home on Monday morning after a unidentified concerned relative called emergency services.
Police found no evidence of a suicide note or hard drugs at the scene of Geldof’s death and are describing it as non-suspicious and unexplained.
