Scott Morrison blames office for embarrassing photoshop fail

Take a close look at what’s wrong with this picture.

For starters, the Prime Minister appears to be the victim of one of the greatest photoshop fails of 2019 – a fake foot grafted on to his ankle in an official photograph with his beloved wife and daughters.

Scott Morrison was rendered the owner of two left feet in the mishap, which he’s blaming on overzealous bureaucrats.

“Message to my Department (PM&C): I didn’t ask for the shoeshine, but if you must Photoshop, please focus on the hair (lack thereof), not the feet!,” the PM said on Twitter.

“Here they are in all their glory – my footwear of choice whenever I can get out of a suit.”

Eagle eyed Australians spotted the continuity issue for the PM and roasted him overnight.

“He has been photoshopped with two left feet… don’t tell me that was not done on purpose,” @cairnstownie posted on Twitter.

While the self described “daggy dad” is sporting a decidedly worn in pair of trainers in the original image, it appears an image guru has decided the shoes needs to be whiter, a lot whiter, in the edited version.

Twitter users are already describing the gaffe as “shoe gate.”

“#auspol story of 2019: our latest PM (ScoMo) had nice white shoes photoshopped onto his feet for his official pm.gov.au site?! Yup. Regular bloke. Our tax dollars hard at work. #shoegate,” he said.

“Dug some more, found the OG dirty shoes in a Fiji Times article… LOL.”
