A Melbourne teenager arrested over an alleged Islamic State-inspired terror attack plot targeting Anzac Day events will apply for bail next week.
Sevdet Ramdan Besim, 18, of Hallam, was charged with conspiring to commit terrorist acts following anti-terror raids on the weekend.
He appeared briefly in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday for a filing hearing, where Magistrate Franz Holzer said Mr Besim’s bail application would be heard on April 30.
Mr Besim was arrested in a pre-dawn raid on Saturday.
It has been alleged that he and two others were planning to attack police officers and members of the public on Anzac Day.
