Flight JQ25 was on its way to Tokyo but landed in Guam after pilots noticed the indicator en route to Tokyo’s Narita airport.

Engineers at Guam assessed the aircraft and fixed the issue, Jetstar said.

A spokeswoman could not give more details about the problem but said the flight was back on track around 7.30pm on Tuesday.

The flight landed at Tokyo three hours late around 11pm.
